Pizza Time

Anna is a peperoni adict, so her and I made pizza this weekend. She ate about 25 pepperoni and then put a couple on her pizza.

The last couple of months, Anna has strongly objected to having her picture taken, so I have resulted to candid pictures... the stinker!

Zoo Boo

Just a cute picture of the girls...

Our parent group went to the zoo boo this weekend and had a blast. Here are some pictures of the event. I was thrilled that Anna wanted to wear her white princess dress (from her assortment of many) because the skirt lights up... but I miscalculated how it would reflect the flash of the camera... so she has a heavenly glow about her, for her angel-like attitude... YEAH RIGHT! We had to threaten her three times with leaving the festivities because she was being a stinker!
Here are most of the kids and a couple of round 2 kids... notice Anna's face? This was one of the times we had to threaten her with going home...
Two other round #2s that were too small to put up on the ledge with the big kids.
Can you guess what Emma-Grace was for it? If you didn't see this coming, then you are blind!

The Giant Pumpkin and the Princess (sounds like a fairy tale)

Perfect Pumpkin

We went to the orchard a few weekends ago and went on a hay ride and picked pumpkins. Anna found the perfect pumpkin. She also went on her first pony ride. She was like a queen on parade!

Ken and His Girls

Look at Anna's Smile!

Ken also got to go to the first Wings Game where they presented the Cup and Banner. Yeah, I was jealous!

Hair Cut

I gave Anna her first haircut last Saturday. Using 3-year old logic, I convinced Anna that she should get her hair cut by pointing out that Mulan cuts her hair and that Jane, Wendy's daughter in Peter Pan 2, has very shor hair as well. Up until this point, Anna has been crazy possessive over her hair. But, Disney Princesses are a wonderful blackmailing toolto getting your three year old to do pretty much evertything. I cut about 4 inches off, it is slightly uneven, but still long enough to style in any princess style that she wants. We will have a professional straighten it out in a few weeks.... baby steps!

There is Just Something Special About Me...

Yup, that is what the shirt says, and I can't deny it!
It is not a trial to stay home, when your 12 week old looks has this attitude all day long!

Here are some more pictures of Anna and Emma-Grace in the same outfit and similar poses... although, unless she is hungry, Emma-Grace hardly cries (knock on wood!) so I couldn't get the same facial expressions. It is crazy how much hair Anna was born with!

And to wrap up, here is a pic of Anna and GG having a tea party.

Tea PArty

Uncle Mike and Aunt Sara got Anna a princess tea set for her birthday. In the video Anna is having a tea party with real tea, sugar and milk, with Grammy.

Here Anna is cleaning up after the tea party. I will translate some of what she says... she says that she wants to invite Grammy, GG and cousins Jenna and Julia next time. Then, at the end when Grammy says "Anna, say bye-bye." Anna corrects her and states that she is Cinderella.

First Field Trip

Anna went on her first field trip with preschool. Ken took her and they went to the apple orchard. They had a great time.

Big Girl

God forbid you refer to Anna as anything other than a "Big Girl"... she is NOT a baby, she is NOT a little girl and she is NOT a toddler!

Smiley Baby Girl

Emma-Grace has big smiles for me. Turn down the volume so you don't hear my annoying mommy talk!

Mega Baby & Mini Baby

Perspectives... our friends' baby, Violet, is 7 weeks younger than Emma-Grace... Emma-Grace was never this tiny! She was over 3 lbs bigger at birth than Violet.

Parent Group 3 Year B-Day

Well, in Anna's eyes we won parent of the year award. For our Parent Group 3 year old birthday party, we went to Bounce University, which is an indoor arena with all the inflatable toys you could imagine. It was a blast! Since Anna hasn't really gotten over the loss of the bouncer that we rented for her birthday, she was thrilled to play here and made us promise that we would come back again to play. We definately will!

So sweet... little girls are cute and pink, but little boys can just melt your heart. Here is Anna's friend Max loving up Emma-Grace. As you can see, Emma-Grace, always the life of any party, is Max's favorite. He did this slide-bounce-run-hug combo routine about 10 times.
