Well, it has been a long time since I posted anything. We went through a period of extreme business over the holidays and then our computer died. Fortunately, we were able to retrieve all of our pictures, so the world didn't end.

Since I have so much catching up to do, I am just going to post pics in no particular order. Enjoy!

The computer with all my pics still isn't working... so here is another story for you. Monday night, Emma-Grace ate a 2"X5" piece of lasagna, a salad with dressing and croutons, two handful of grapes, a cookie, one string cheese and then an hour later an 8 oz bottle.

On Tuesday we took the girls to McDonalds for a treat, and Anna ate a 4 piece chicken nugget, her apples, chocolate milk, one half of Emma-Grace's cheese burger, one third of my medium french fries, and a whole small french fries all by her self. Emma-Grace didn't eat too much, but she was probably still full from the day before! I think Anna was partially milking the experience because we were sitting at the high top tables and she didn't want to leave!

Not sure what is going on with their diets, but they have been chow hounds!

Responsibility

I know I am very delinquent in posting... it has been so long! Part of the problem is that our computer is going haywire and all my photos and video are on the desktop that is slowly dying. We are planning on buying a new computer after we figure out taxes. So until then, the pics will be a little sparse.

But I do have a story to share... It is about Anna and how much of a big responsible girl she is. So we were sitting home today and Ken decided that he wanted to go to Toys R Us and look at their Wii remote prices. So we told Anna that we were all going to go and I told her to go potty. She started to go upstairs and I reminded her to go potty and she turned around and said that she needed to do something first. So I told her to hurry. A few seconds later she came back downstairs holding her piggy bank and asked us how much money we thought was in it because she wants a new doll... talk about breaking my heart! She made the connection from hearing that we were going to Toys R Us, what was at Toys R Us, what she wanted and what she needed to get what she wanted. What a big girl! Fortunately for her we left the money in the piggy bank because she had a Toys R Us gift card from Uncle Paul and Aunt Lisa from Christmas. Also being the smart mommy I am, I had a $5 coupon for a barbie so she still has money left on her gift card. What a sweet heart! We keep getting teary-eyed when we think about what she did.

She is growing up too fast!

Well, it has been an exceptionally long time since I blogged... we had about three weeks of sickness (all of us), stress (on my part), sleepless nights, and winter time depression (again, on my part). But we seem to be getting all better in all manner and now I am back to blogging. Here are a bunch of random pictures from way back stating in the fall... Captions provided for explanation:

Here is a picture of sick Emma-Grace. Considering she operates in two modes: asleep and 100 mph, getting her to lay like this while awake is a rare occurrence. I knew she wasn't feeling well when she did this. Poor baby.

2009 Failed Christmas Card Picture - I really wanted to get a picture of Anna wearing a Santa suit and Emma-Grace wearing this reindeer suit. But kids Santa suits are $30 (I am not interested in paying that much for one), so we went with the Santa had. I envisioned a picture of the girls on our outing to cut down a live tree, but Emma-Grace would have none of it and this is the only good picture I got of her.

The funny thing is, is that Emma-Grace LOVES wearing the reindeer outfit. She thinks it is a bear and as soon as you put it on her she starts growling and roaring... Then she throws a temper tantrum when it is time to take if off. So here is Emma-Grace wearing the reindeer suit, and being equal opportunity type parents, below are pictures of Anna from December 2006 when she was blessed to wear the reindeer suit... Santa Love...Anna 2006... we were in Florida, hence the palms.
