Field Trip, Pretty Pretty Princess, Tea Party and a Soccer Game

Ken messing with the girls... no wonder he is always so sore!

So Sweet...
Friday night TV watching!Anna's class went on a field trip to Upland Hills farm this past Friday. Yes, this Friday in which it rained nearly an inch. Needless to say, we tried to have a good time. The girls were thrilled to wear their rain coats and boots.

Chilling out in matching outfits and rain boots on a sunny day. It's cool.
Swing set fun before Mommy comes home from work!
Apparently Emma-Grace sat in some water and spazzed out because her pants were dirty. Dirty pants are NOT OK, but NO pants is OK.
When Emma-Grace takes a nap, Anna gets to do things with Grammy that either has little pieces, or something that Emma-Grace will make a mess of... like having a tea party.
Emma-Grace just hanging out in her heels.
The girls have the game Pretty Pretty Princess (you shouldn't be too shocked that we have this game...). Anyway, the goal is to collect all the jewelry from the jewelery box. Whoever gets all the pieces first, wins. Emma-Grace won, but they both modeled the jewelery.

Emma-Grace Loves shoes... and boots.
We had an early morning Mother's Day game of princess ball soccer this Sunday. Emma-Grace wanted to play too, so her and Ken were on a team, and me and Anna were on a team. You have to give Ken A LOT of credit... Emma-Grace weighs 34 lbs! Watch closely as he takes a break and Emma-Grace yells "one more time!" His back is sore tonight and he says it is because he worked in the yard today, but I really think it is from running like a hunch-back with a 34 lb lead weight dangling from your front. Remember, lift with your knees, not with your back! Oh, and of course, Anna is wearing a dress. At least I convinced her to wear jeans under the dress today.

Here is Anna and Grammy having a tea party when Emma-Grace is sleeping. Watch right at the end when Anna's happy attitude falls because of her shame of spilling. It made me cry a little. For her sake, there is a tiny little hole in the cup that the wire from the packaging was fed through to hold it in the box when we bought it.

Emma-Grace is a great eater, but sometimes she likes to play. So here is Ken feeding her. Then Anna goes over all of our nicknames: Anna-Banana, Emma-Grapes, Salami-Mommy, and Hamburger patty-Daddy.

Those girls are way too cute. Something about Emma Grace's expressions and personality that reminds me of Elle at that age. Thanks for sharing!
